David Neale APFS
Director and Chartered Financial Planner
David started his career as a financial planner in 1997 with Chase de Vere Investments. In 2003, he became the youngest director at Jobson James, working with business owners, their families and fund managers. He negotiated the largest financial protection case in the UK in 2008 providing business protection for an investment firm. In 2009, David set up Adaptive Financial Strategies, which subsequently merged with Beckford James in 2014.
Always up for a challenge, David stays active and rejuvenated trying new sports. From scaling the Matterhorn in 2008 to cycling from Birmingham to Geneva to free diving in the Philippines he likes to give new challenges a ‘go’. In lockdown (May 2020), he spent every day cycling virtually up Alpe du Huez (Zwift) to raise money towards rehab for the guide who helped him scale the Matterhorn and subsequently suffered a life changing accident in 2018.
David is also a keen gastronome and can always be relied upon to recommend a restaurant for dining out or a tasty recipe to enjoy at home.
